MEET THE CREATIVE TEAM

Kelly Van Oosbree (Director) has been a board member of Platte Valley Players since 2006 and currently serves as Artistic Director.  Kelly began her directing career with PVP back in 2008 and the rest- as they say- is history.  Her direction and choreography have been seen at The Aurora Fox, Performance Now Theatre Company, Vintage Theatre, Opera Colorado, Evergreen Players, Breckenridge Backstage Theatre, Cherry Creek Theatre, among others.  Kelly loves directing but she loves to do it near her home- which makes Platte Valley Players her favorite.

Eric Weinstein (Music Director)  is so excited to be playing this incredible music with these amazing artists. Songs For A New World has been on his theatrical ‘bucket’ list for as long as he can remember, and he thanks Kelly for providing the opportunity of a lifetime. Eric has been part of the Denver theater community for over 30 years as an actor, musician, composer, and arranger. In addition to theatrical work, he has been busy composing music for films and theatrical projects in Los Angeles. Recent local credits include The Drowsy Chaperone, Ring Of Fire, Forever Plaid, The Secret Garden, She Loves Me, Ragtime: The Musical. Recent composing credits: The Golden Realm: An American Larping Experience (Award of Excellence, IndieFEST), Gruesome Playground Injuries, She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms. You can find Eric’s original music at ericweinstein.com.

Victoria Holloway (Asst. Director) is overjoyed to be back in Brighton! Previous credits with PVP include Disaster! The Musical, The Best of Enemies, The Music Man in Concert, You Can’t Take It With You and The Nina Variations.  She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Baylor University and her next project, directing Nunsense at Performance Now Theatre Company, will open in January, 2022.  Thank you to Kelly Van Oosbree, who deserves the stars and the moon.
